Comments:Gahuti Trail is an 8.1 mile loop hike. If you start toward the northwest (from Old Fort Road, head left from the trailhead),it is 2 miles to the waterfall. If you start toward the southeas, it is 6 miles to the waterfall.
We parked on the side of Old Fort Road near the trail head and walked a short distance to the trailhead. Since we weren’t too concerned about when we would get to the waterfall, we started to the southeast.
If you want a shorter hike, about 4 miles round trip, with a beautiful payoff you can start to the northwest and hike to the water fall and back. The waterfall is a great place to have lunch and enjoy the view.
